McDonald’s will be adding a new Strawberry Shortcake McFlurry to the menu for a limited time starting Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
The new, limited-time flavor of the McFlurry features vanilla soft serve mixed with strawberry-flavored clusters and buttery shortbread cookie pieces.
Come April 12, 2023, you’ll be able to find it at participating locations nationwide, while supplies last.
While the Strawberry Shortcake flavor is new to the US (although they did once test a Strawberry Shortcake Sundae here), they’ve offered it before in a number of countries, including Canada (mixed with strawberries, strawberry sauce, and some sort of crumbles), Japan (where it was mixed with sponge cake and a strawberry sauce with pulp), and, more recently, Singapore (where it’s currently available and not like strawberry shortcake at all–the vanilla soft serve is mixed with strawberry sauce and Oreo cookie pieces)
