McDonald’s is getting rid of their McCafe Bakery line, which includes the chain’s Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin, and Cinnamon Roll, starting this month (July 2023).
In a statement to Today, the chain mentioned that,ย “Weโre always listening to our fans and adjusting our menu based on what they crave. Starting this month, weโll be phasing out our McCafe Bakery line-up, including the Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin and Cinnamon Roll.”
The McCafe Bakery menu items were first introduced in October 2020ย and they previously added two limited-time items to the menu: the Glazed Pull Apart Donut and the Cheese Danish. More recently, McDonald’s tested offering Krispy Kreme donuts, which could serve as somewhat of a replacement.
McDonald’s will continue to offer their baked pies and cookies.
