KFC brings back Cajun Deep Fried Turkey for Thanksgiving 2023 but they’re only available at select locations in four states: California, Colorado, Utah, and Washington.
The turkeys are described as “tender, juicy, and deliciously prepared in our classic KFC style” (which is a bit of a head-scratcher to me since classic KFC style is not generally considered “Cajun.”). They range from 14-to-16 pounds, are meant to feed 12 people, and are pre-cooked but need to be reheated.
KFC’s Cajun Deep Fried Turkey are only available for in-store ordering and can be ordered and picked up now, while supplies last. They tend to sell out quickly.
KFC’s Cajun Deep Fried Turkey costs $69.99 (may vary), which is priced comparably to rival Popeyes’ nationally-available Cajun Turkey. It’s also available as part of a Holiday Meal and a Holiday Feast.
The Holiday Meal costs $99.99 and includes a Cajun Deep Fried Turkey, family-sized mashed potatoes, family-sized gravy, family-sized coleslaw, and 12 buttermilk biscuits.
The Holiday Feast goes for $109.99 and adds family-sized sweet corn, family-sized mac and cheese, and a chocolate chip cake what’s included in the Holiday Meal.
As far as I can ascertain, KFC has never offered turkeys on a nationwide basis.
