Citing increasing consumer demand for plant-based snacks, Hershey’s offers new Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt and new Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups.
The two new varieties are made with oat chocolate instead of milk chocolate and are set to launch nationwide this spring. Reese’s Plant Based Peanut Butter Cups arrive starting this month, while Hershey’s Plant Based Extra Creamy with Almonds and Sea Salt can be found on store shelves starting in April 2023.
Hershey’s previously tested a plant-based chocolate line in 2021 called, “Oat Made.”
