Burger King celebrates the school homecoming season with the debut of their first BK Homecoming Meal.
Meant to feed two people, the BK Homecoming Meal includes two Whopper Jr. burgers, two milkshakes, one small order of onions rings, and one small order of French fries for $10. Also included in the meal are two Burger King paper crowns (because “it’s not homecoming without a crown”), while supplies last. The idea being to make for an inexpensive meal for before or after a homecoming dance.
If you happen to live the New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, or Oklahoma City area, in those cities, they’ll be giving out limited-edition, homecoming-themed crowns with the purchase of a BK Homecoming Meal, while supplies last.
Homecoming generally refers to the tradition of welcoming back alumni of an organization (commonly a school) to celebrate the organization.
